Chloe Thomas

 Junior Varsity Coach

Chloe Thomas has had volleyball in her life for as long as she can remember. From watching her aunt coach her sister to playing rec ball coached by her dad. Growing up in Junction City, KS, Chloe played school ball in middle and high school and played club ball from 4th grade on. After high school, Chloe thought her volleyball days were done. She occasionally played with friends but didn’t think coaching would be part of her future.

Chloe graduated college in the Spring of 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in English Education and soon after was offered a teaching position at ONW. On the application, she marked that if help were needed, she would be interested in a coaching position for volleyball. Sure enough, they were looking for a coach.

Chloe coached the freshman team at ONW during the 2021 and 2022 seasons and saw a lot of success with one league championship. She has also coached for Zoom Volleyball Club for one season.

Chloe is so excited to be taking on the JV coaching position for the 2023 season and she can’t wait to see the success and the growth of all the players, including the players that were part of her freshman team in the past.
